Visit of Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron (1TS) to Singapore
The ships of the First Training Squadron (1TS) of the Indian Navy — INS Tir, Shardul, Sujata and ICGS Sarathi arrived at Singapore on January 15, 2025 for Long Range Training Deployment (LRTD) to South East Asia as part of a training curriculum of the 110th Integrated Officers’ Training Course (IOTC).
The visit reflects the deep bonds between India and Singapore and their commitment to enhance maritime cooperation and regional security. This aligns well with India’s vision of MAHASAGAR and Act East Policy.
