The Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA), through its annual Project Give campaign, brought festive cheer to the heartlands through Project Give Heartlands (PGH) 2026, uniting residents, volunteers and community partners in the spirit of giving and togetherness.
The PGH at Punggol 21 Community Club was graced by Senior Minister of State Dr Janil Puthucheary and Ms Yeo Wan Ling, Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC, as Guests-of-Honour.
Festive Support for Families:
SINDA is extending festive support to 2,350 individuals through Festive Gift Packs valued at close to $150 each, as part of a campaign providing over $460,000 in festive giving.
Celebrations in the Heartlands:
Residents enjoyed festive performances, cultural activities, traditional games and live snack stations, creating opportunities for families and residents of different generations to connect.
A Collective Community Effort:
Jointly organised with the Little India Shop Owners & Heritage Association (LISHA), Mediacorp and Narpani Pearavai, PGH 2026 brings together more than 60 organisations and community groups across eight heartland events to make Deepavali more meaningful and inclusive.
