15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) or Overseas Indian Meet is being organised at Varanasi in state of Uttar Pradesh, India from 21-23 January 2019, in partnership with Government of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Over 5000 participants are expected to join the three-day PBD Convention. The participants will also have the opportunity to participate in Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj on January 24 and Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi on 26 January 2019. (Attendance in Kumbh Mela and Republic Day Parade is optional). Participants will also experience India’s rich cultural heritage as also progress and innovation through Cultural Evenings and Exhibitions that are being arranged as part of PBD 2019.

Registration– Registration will remain open till 15 November 2018.
Travel arrangements – Travel arrangements within India are being made by the organizers for the entire duration of this mega-event spanning six days – from 21 January to 26 January, 2019. Participants will be taken to Prayagraj in Special AC coaches and brought back to Delhi in Special AC trains. Organizers are also arranging for local transport to the venue and guided tours for local sightseeing in and around Varanasi and Prayagraj, including visit to Kashi Vishwanath temple and River Ganga Aarti at Varanasi. Transport arrangements have been made to pick up participants from the designated points on January 26 for the Republic Day Parade in the morning.
Accommodation– Accommodation is available in Varanasi and Pyaragraj and special rates are listed on PBD website. Accommodation at New Delhi needs to be booked by participants themselves. Lunches and dinners will be arranged for all the 3 days of PBD Convention.
